These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by ManAndVanMCR ("we", "us", "our"). By booking our services, you ("the customer", "you") agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
All bookings must be confirmed in advance by phone, message, email, or online.
A booking is considered confirmed once agreed by both parties.
Any changes to the booking details must be communicated as soon as possible.
All quotes are based on the information provided by the customer.
Quotes may be fixed-price or hourly, depending on the service agreed.
Additional charges may apply if:
- The job takes longer than estimated
- There are additional items not listed
- Access issues (stairs, long walking distances, lifts not working)
- Waiting time caused by the customer
- Parking fees, congestion charges, tolls, or permits are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.
Payment is due in full on completion of the job unless agreed otherwise.
We accept cash, bank transfer, or other agreed payment methods.
Failure to make payment may result in legal action or recovery costs.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to the full booking amount.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control (vehicle breakdown, severe weather, emergencies).
The customer must ensure:
- Accurate information is provided about items and locations
- Clear access to the property at pickup and delivery points
- Items are ready for loading at the agreed time
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information or lack of access.
We reserve the right to refuse to move the following:
- Hazardous or flammable materials
- Explosives, chemicals, or gases
- Illegal items
- Perishable goods
- Animals or people
The customer is responsible for packing items securely unless packing services are booked.
Fragile items must be clearly labelled.
We are not liable for damage to items that were not properly packed by the customer.
We take reasonable care while handling your belongings.
Any damage must be reported immediately or within 24 hours of job completion.
Our liability is limited to repair or replacement at our discretion.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Items packed by the customer
- Flat-pack or self-assembled furniture that is not designed to be moved
- Electrical or mechanical failure of items
We hold Goods in Transit insurance as required.
Insurance coverage is subject to policy terms and exclusions.
High-value items must be declared in advance.
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or events beyond our control.
Any time lost due to such delays may be chargeable on hourly bookings.
If storage is arranged, separate terms may apply.
Stored items remain the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the service date.
We aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
Customer information is used solely for providing services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
